About

Annika Peetsalu (formerly Jaanson) is a Partner at COBALT Estonia with extensive experience in economic disputes, corporate reorganizations, and restructuring processes. Annika is also a Co-Lead of our Private Wealth Industry, highly experienced in complex family law and inheritance disputes and estate planning.

She has led several cluster disputes, including international cases, and has significant experience in family and inheritance disputes. In the field of insolvency, her contribution has shaped the practice of Estonian insolvency law, contributing to the interpretation of the law and being the basis for amending legislation.

Her professional background also includes being Head of Legal for an international fintech company, where she primarily advised group entities operating in foreign jurisdictions.

Annika has been a member of the Estonian Bar Association since 2011 and a member of the Insolvency Law Committee of the Estonian Bar Association since 2020. As of 2025, she is also a member of the Board of the Estonian Bar Association. Additionally, Annika is a member of the Estonian Arbitration Association.
